FAQs

Are the LiquiBands a one-size fits all product?

LiquiBands fit most wrist sizes. They are designed to fit snug for the first few uses as they develop a custom fit to your wrist. After a few wears, they will conform to you! For small wrists, just pull the LiquiBands down your forearms until there is a comfortable, water-tight seal. For large wrists, we use a stretchy silicone that is very elastic and will stretch as you continue wearing them. From men to women, large wrists to small wrists, we've got you covered!

How do I properly wear my LiquiBands?

Turn your hand sideways with your thumb facing the ceiling and your pinky facing the floor. Pull each Wash Band onto your wrist, one at a time, with the spout facing downward toward your pinky until you have achieved a comfortable fit and water-tight seal (usually about 1 to 2 inches below your wrist). Now, do your thing! Whether you are washing your face, the dishes or the dog, you are mess & stress free.

I have sensitive skin. Can I use silicone tools?

Yes! The beauty of food-grade silicone is that it is hypoallergenic and non-irritating. PLUS it is free of phthalates, BPAs and latex. By nature, food-grade silicone is odorless, non-porous and tasteless.

We are committed to safe products and a clean lifestyle so your beauty regimen is worry-free.

What’s NOT in Liquilinks products?

There’s no BPA, BPS, lead, latex, phthalates, petroleum (plastics), toxins, PVC, nitrosamines, formaldehyde, or anything else you don’t want in your system.  There is simply only 100% Food Grade cured Silicone in our products.
What about the environment?
Sustainability is key to our longevity.. Liquilinks products are unbreakable, reusable and, if done properly, recyclable. But again, why would you ever want or need to recycle a product that will never wear out? Liquilinks products are also eco-friendly because of what they’re made from: silicone is derived from abundant, easily accessible elements from the earth (not petroleum). If they ever do end up in a landfill incinerator, silicone will break back down into inorganic, harmless substances such as amorphous silica, carbon dioxide, and water vapor.

And also, since Liquilinks products are unbreakable and reusable, the environmental costs associated with manufacturing, transportation, and packaging are significantly reduced since they’ll only be incurred once.

How do I clean and maintain my beauty tools?

Our non-porous silicone is antibacterial and antimicrobial plus mold, stain and odor resistant! After using, simply rinse and hang or set your tools out to dry. That's it! Should you feel that they need an extra cleanse, all of our beauty essentials are dishwasher-safe and we recommend placing them in the top rack.

Is silicone BPA Free?

Yes! Liquilinks are BPA Free. Since the 1960s, BPA or bisphenol A, has been used to make certain plastics and resins, particularly those used for food storage. According to the Mayo Clinic, exposure to BPA “is a concern because of possible health effects of BPA on the brain, behavior and prostate gland of fetuses, infants and children. Additional research suggests a possible link between BPA and increased blood pressure.” This has led some producers to seek alternate chemicals for their plastic materials so they can still use the desirable “BPA Free” label. Phthalates are often added to create “squeezy” plastics, and some manufacturers are adding BPS (bisphenol-S) which could be even more toxic than BPA.Our FDA-approved, 100% food-grade silicone is also free of BPS, PVC, lead, latex, phthalates, nitrosamines, formaldehyde, and other toxins found in petroleum-based plastics.
What is silicone?

Silicone consists of four, readily available and abundant elements: oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, and silica – the second-most abundant element in the earth’s crust (found in sands & dusts, for example). These elements are heated to create a liquid-like substance which is then cured, hardened, and formed into the desired shape.

Silica is an extremely plentiful element rather than a scarce, hard-to-find resource.

Why are Liquilinks good for you and the environment?

BPA, BPS, PVC
Lead
Nitrosamines
Formaldehyde
Phthalates
